Self-Authoring

The Essence

By purchasing and participating in New Millennium Leader - The Academy, you hereby agree to these policies. Additionally, your use of materials provided in The Academy are subject to our general Terms of use and Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

COMMITMENT

By signing up for Self-Authoring you agree to make full payment for the program. You can choose to pre-pay the full amount or one of our payment plan options.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds regardless of how you have purchased (annual or monthly payments).

DEFAULTS

If your payment method provided cannot be processed for any of the payments, we’ll reach out by email to help fix it. If we don’t hear back from you or receive a payment after 3 attempts, we may suspend your access to the program.

MAKING PHYSICAL OR DIGITAL COPIES, PRINTING, SHARING MATERIALS

You may print or make paper or digital copies for your own personal use. For everything else, we trust that you’ll honour the time, energy and love put towards your Academy experience and therefore respect our copyright and intellectual property. Please see Terms of Use for more details.

MEDICAL ADVICE

The work we’ll be doing together in Self-Authoring is therapeutic, but it is not “therapy.” None of the content in the materials constitutes medical advice and is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. We also advise you to consult with your medical doctor before changing your diet or lifestyle. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of your enrolment in the Academy. We make no guarantees about your experience or results from participation in The Academy and you release Alison Cameron, The Leadership Retreat and any affiliated companies, its officers, employees, and consultants of any liability relating to your use. Meditation and guided imagery are effective tools that can be used as part of a regular practice to provide stress relief, personal insight and relaxation. Individual results may vary and are dependent of other factors in your life, therefore, The Academy cannot guarantee your success when using these audios.

The recordings provided by The Academy are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or illness. Always consult your physician or therapist before listening to the guided meditations or creative imagination experiences.

If you have, or suspect that you have, a medical problem, please contact your health care provider to seek professional medical attention without delay.

MENTAL HEALTH

All content including guided meditations and creative visualisations are intended for individuals with sound mental health. If you have any mental health issues, please consult your mental health physician and/or therapist before using the content. Guided meditation and creative imaginations experiences are not recommended for people suffering from serious mental disorders or illness.

SAFETY FIRST

Always make sure to listen to the guided meditation and creative imagination videos and audios in a seated position or lying down, and ensure that you are in a safe environment.

Do not listen to guided meditation or creative imagination videos or audios while driving a car or operating any kind of machinery, or with other devices that may influence your state of consciousness.

Do not listen to the recordings under the influence of alcohol drugs.

ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

We reserve the right at our discretion to deny access to or remove participants from The Academy at any time for any reason.

The Detail

This agreement is between Alison Cameron (herein named as GUIDE) and PARTICIPANT (herein named PARTICIPANT), for THE NEW MILLENNIUM LEADER ACADEMY.

Confidentiality

Both PARTICIPANT and GUIDE shall take reasonable steps to ensure that its employees/consultants keep confidential all information coming to their knowledge during the provision of the services.

Confidential Information shall include but not be limited to the substance of any reports, tests, recommendation, or advice, which shall be provided to you in connection with the provision of the services and Alison Cameron copyright material and other intellectual property.

The GUIDE will not share any aspect of our communication with others unless where granted permission from myself; (b) divulge that they are in a relationship with me without my permission; (c) make use of privileged information for their benefit or the benefit of a third party.

The above shall not apply to information in the public domain.

The obligation of confidence shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.

Intellectual Property

GUIDE holds the license on or is the owner of all materials used during the Academy; PARTICIPANT is not permitted, during or after my participation in the Academy to copy or in any way distribute any part of these materials to others.

All existing Alison Cameron intellectual property rights including copyright, tools, designs, and methodologies subsisting in materials and information provided by GUIDE to the PARTICIPANT, vest exclusively and remain vested exclusively in the GUIDE.

The PARTICIPANT has no right to reproduce any materials incorporating GUIDES intellectual property rights including copyright subsisting in materials and information provided by GUIDE to the PARTICIPANT, other than in connection with the provision of the Services or the activity to which the Services relate as set out herein or with the express written permission of GUIDE.

Limitation of Liability

In engaging GUIDE you acknowledge that the Services provided are advisory and, or demonstrative only. The decision as to whether and how to use the advice, methods and material requires decision on the part of the PARTICIPANT, taking account of facts and other information some, of which may be unknown to GUIDE.

Under no circumstances shall GUIDE be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages including damages or loss of business or personal profits, business interruption, loss of business or personal information or other pecuniary loss arising from any breach or failure by GUIDE of its obligations under Agreement even if GUIDE has been notified of the possibility of such damage arising. In any event, the liability of GUIDE under this Agreement, whether for negligence, breach of contract, breach of warranty or otherwise shall, in aggregate, not exceed the sum of the amounts paid to GUIDE by the PARTICIPANT.

Nature of Service

The PARTICIPANT understands that the Academy is designed to help them learn ideas, methods, and practices to develop themselves as a human being.

The PARTICIPANT understands that services provided by GUIDE, be they coaching, training or facilitation, are educational in nature, aimed to advance the learning of participants and that GUIDE does not provide or intend to provide, psychological service, psychotherapy, or psychological counselling. The PARTICIPENT accepts full responsibility for assessing the suitability of coaching, guidance, training or facilitation for themselves prior to their engagement.

In particular, the PARTICPANT assumes the risks inherent in self-reflection and agrees this is an appropriate time for them to take up activities of self exploration.

The PARTICIPANT understands it is dangerous to listen to guided meditations while driving, operating machinery or multi-tasking in any way and commits to only listening to guided meditations when it is safe to do so.

Privacy Policy

GUIDE understands the importance of issues relating to privacy and is sensitive to personal information collected about participants in its experiences.

GUIDE is committed to complying with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs), which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (as amended)

Variation and Survival

This Agreement may be varied by the subsequent written approval of GUIDE and the PARTICIPANT. Provisions of this Agreement that can have effect will survive the conclusion of the engagement and payment of outstanding fees.

This is the entire agreement of the parties, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.

If a dispute arises out of this agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, the PARTICIPANT and GUIDE agree to attempt to mediate in good faith for up to 30 days after notice given.

The PARTICIPANT'S agreement indicates compliance with the above requests and understanding of the services to be provided.
